In my printmaking project named the “Dark Sea”, uses two techniques: etching and aquatint. Through etching, lines are etched into the plate, while aquatint allows for the creation of subtle tonal gradations similar to watercolor washes. These techniques enable artists to breathe life into fantastical and mythological imagery with intricate detail and atmospheric depth.
